This Mother’s Day, Deliveroo has teamed up with tze char favourite New Ubin to celebrate the superwomen in our lives. And for the women who play mum, wife, businesswoman, best friend and more every single day, nothing says ‘I Love You’ like a sumptuous meal that warms and feeds the mind, body and soul. This May 12th, treat the special women in your life to a nourishing and delicious three-course meal signed, sealed and delivered with love by Deliveroo in an exclusive Insta-worthy Tingkat.
New Ubin’s Mother’s Day menu includes Fried Ikan Kuning, Herbal Chicken Soup, Green Dragon Vegetables with Salted Fish & Pork Lard and Steamed Jasmine Rice, all for $28.90, including a limited edition Tingkat for keeps. The lovingly-designed Tingkat is a celebration of the modern mums of today, and depicts how mums carve out personal time to do the things that they enjoy the most, whether it’s spending precious time with their little ones, brunching with their girlfriends, working out, or even just treating themselves to a delicious dine-in dinner ordered straight to their doorsteps.
While mum tucks into her Mother’s Day menu, the rest of the family can also enjoy New Ubin’s kampong fare including Traditional Satay, Hokkien Mee Special and “Tze Char” Fried Rice. Founded 30 years ago, New Ubin began as a small family owned seafood restaurant on the north shore of Pulau Ubin. Some of the traditional recipes and dishes have gone on to become part of Singapore’s tze char tradition, and over the years, the truly Singaporean restaurant has earned a reputation for unique dishes that have changed perceptions of what tze char cuisine can be.
