Lady M® Confections from New York – the pioneer of the world-famous Mille Crepes cake debuts at Marina Square! was having dinner with one of my friend sometime back and when i told him there’s a new dessert place that we can go to for dessert, which is LADY M, he got so excited! I didn’t give him that weird stare but it makes me wanna try it even more.
Seriously i have no idea what’s this LADY M is all about, till he told me that its well liked by domestic goddess Martha Stewart, to Supermodel, Linda Evangelista and Japanese fashion designer, Issey Miyake.
So… let’s see what’s so special about it!
Loved the white interior which gives it a modern, spacious and futuristic look.
We ordered the 2 signature crêpes, Mille Crêpes and the Green Tea Mille Crêpes
The signature and famous Lady M Mille Crêpes feature no less than twenty paper-thin handmade crêpes layered with ethereal light pastry cream. Delicate and irresistible, the top gently caramelized till golden. Sink right in, alternating crêpe and cream layers literally melt in your mouth leaving a subtle sweet finish.
Fine green tea powder is infused into every element of the delicate Green Tea Mille Crêpes, a sight to behold with no less than twenty lacy thin crêpes enveloping the lightest pastry cream, vibrant green tea flavors gently humming in the background. Powdered green tea to top.
It was quite an expensive dessert for us but i must say that it taste really nice. You know, once in awhile, you should just pamper youself with something good 😛
