Air New Zealand hosted an event with Changi Airport Group to celebrate its recent return to Singapore.
The airline commenced services to Singapore on 6 January 2015 with the operational launch of its alliance with Singapore Airlines.
Together, the two Star Alliance carriers operate three services daily between Singapore and New Zealand, connecting travellers to 40 destinations on Air New Zealand’s network.
The event, held at Singapore’s Fullerton Bay Hotel was attended by members of the local tourism industry as well as executives from Changi Airport Group, Singapore Airlines and SATS. Guests were welcomed with a traditional Maori Kapa Haka performance by Air New Zealand staff.
This month Air New Zealand will take part in several major travel fairs in Singapore for the first time, offering some attractive deals to Singaporean travellers. The airline has also recently launched a joint campaign with Tourism New Zealand to promote the Singapore – Auckland route between April and June, with special fares starting from S$999*.
