The Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs in Korea and the Korean Food Foundation announced the launch of “Korean Restaurant Guide Singapore · Hong Kong”, a Korean restaurant guidebook along with a mobile application in Singapore and Hong Kong to provide greater access to authentic Korean food for local residents.
Both Singapore and Hong Kong are known to have a strong fan base for the Korean culture thanks to K-dramas and music. Riding on the thriving Korean Wave in these two countries, the Korean Restaurant Guide and mobile application will allow fans and locals to conveniently decide on a restaurant that fits their liking and enjoy the true taste of Korea in their hometown.
A total of 20 Korean restaurants in Singapore, carefully selected from 150 restaurants in Singapore by a team of local food experts such as local chef Benny Se Teo and popular food blogger, Miss Tam Chiak is featured in the The which includes details and recommendations on the various handpicked Korean restaurants in Singapore and Hong Kong.
Complementing the guidebook is the mobile application that has also been released for users to gain easy access to the guidebook content on their mobiles. The mobile application is available on both IOS and Android versions – search “KoreanRest.Guide – HK, SG” on Google Play and “Korean Restaurant Guide – Hong Kong, Singapore” on the Apple Store to download.
