Guest Chefs from JW Marriott Khao lak and JW Marriott Hanoi was invited over a short period of time to prepare the food for this buffet so as to ensure the authenticity. Some of the Thai highlights comprise of Phad Thai Goong, Laarp Phed (Chicken Thai Salad), Nua Phad Khing (Stir-fried Beef with Ginger) and many more.
Geang Phed Ped Yang (Spicy Red Duck Curry) surprises me as the curry is spicy and sweet and I only got to know why it tasted sweet was from the pineapple chunks which looks like potatoes cooked in it.
What’s thai food without Tom Yum Soup right?
One of my favourite got to be the Thod Man Goong (Deep Fried Shrimp Cake) So addictive that I can’t stop eating it :X
Other common food that you’ll find in a Thai cuisine got to be the Papaya Salad and Minced Meat with Basil Leaves.
For the Vietnamese Cuisine, you can get to try food like the all time favourite Beef Pho Soup Noodles, Grilled Pork marinated with Lemon Grass and Chilli, Cripsy Roasted Chicken Chilli with Lime Leaves, and many more.
Hanoi Fried Rice which personally I felt was okay.
Braised Fish in Caramelized Fish Sauce and this is quite tasty.
Not forgetting your Vietnamese Pho Rolls can be found in the buffet spread too.
