We are all aware that carbon dioxide has an important activity
ECO2 mask is a new skincare treatment by EHA clinic where it helps to increase the oxygen into our skin. Together with PDT (Photodynamic therapy), it double up the effect to make your skin feel smoother, brighter and more supple.
Mixing the solutions together
The ECO2 mask helps to boost cell metabolism, create new collagen and elastic fiber cells to help you fight against ageing. It also increases blood flow by vasodilation and stimulates fibroblasts for wound heeling.
so cool! don’t you think it looks like popiah skin? hahahaha~
So what is PDT also known as Photodynamic therapy all about?
PDT, Photodynamic therapy is a photo-sensitive topical agent that is applied to the skin and activated through a light source to help promote skin rejuvenation for acne-treatment, acne-scar treatment, anti-aging, rosacea treatment and more. It can be accomplished through either the Blue or Red light therapy.
The Blue and Red light therapy is very important in the PDT process. In response to the Blue light therapy, molecules within acne-causing bacteria produce singlet oxygen and free radicals that cause the bacteria to self-destruct. This aspect of PDT is critical as only when these bacteria are destroyed, then your skin can rejuvenate and the normalization of cellular function will take place.
Red light therapy stimulates the skin and helps promote the production of the energy source for cells known as adenosine triphosphate (ATP). Okay this is getting a little too technical haha. In short, by increasing ATP, it will increase the production of elastin and collagen.
If you are having skin problems such as acne, acne scare, aging skin etc, this treatment is very suitable for you. Come experience for yourself today!
