Can’t believe that i’ve not been blogging for the past 10 days! sorry about that but no worries as im back again! 😛 Glad to meet up with my bbfs over the weekend and guess we decided to meet up at? Chinatown Point! It’s totally different now with alot more shops in there, and hopefully be able to attract more youngster too.
We had our late lunch at EAT AT TAIPEI and i still rmb the first time when i eat there for lunch with my colleagues, the ru rou fan 卤肉饭 was kinda disappointing. the type of meat they used wasn’t right, and the rice seems to be too soggy. :X So this time round, i decided to try the 炸酱面 and luckily, it taste sooo much better than the previous time. Loved the generous supply of greens and though it may not taste as flavorful as it should from the pic, adding in some chili sauce will add in a tinge of spicy to it, making the whole taste more complete.
After lunch at EAT AT TAIPEI (吃在台北) diana and zw left first as zw was having quite a bad diarrhea. So after bidding goodbye to them, we proceed on to bugis+ for some window shopping which eventually didn’t happen as i bought a tee from Lowrys Farm. They are having crazy cheap sales and how can i resist right?!
After shopping, it’s time for dinner! 😀 and i’ve always wanted to try out the yummy chicken from BonChon Chicken located at level one of Bugis+, i suggest to have dinner there !
Ordered this seafood pancake which is so much smaller than those served in a korean restaurant. Price was ard $6.80 if im not wrong, and i guess that explains why it’s so much smaller as those in a korean restaurant will cost you min. $12 and above.
Ordered kimchi soup to share… Personally i think the soup can be more flavorful.
the main highlight for the night gotta be this! The signature BonChon Chicken! We are crazy as we ordered the party platter which includes 20 wings and 20 drumlets to feed a total of 5 of us! Initially i was like kinda sure we will have alot of leftovers but the chicken taste SOOO good and addictive that we just couldn’t stop eating. Yes, we managed to finish everything…
A table bin for u to throw ur chicken bones. From here you can tell who is a pro in eating chicken wings. Mr Marc bucket is on the left (with many BITS of chicken meat on the bones) whereas the rest of us is on the right (totally clean bones~! 😀 )
Overall i think the food was really quite nice, especially the chicken which i strongly suggest you guys to go try.
