Burp Kitchen & Bar started off with their very first outlet at Bedok Reservoir with a good response, they opened their second outlet at Tanjong Katong. We got to visit them and tried out the wide varieties of delicious American-street food.
Located with a bus stop just right in-front, it’s quite convenient to travel there by bus or train (you may alight at Dakota and take a bus which is a few stops away). With a cosy, friendly and rustic ambience, Burp Kitchen & Bar has the ideal setting to chow down on some epic burgers, tacos, grilled cheese sandwiches and bar grub over bottled craft beers or ice cold beers available on tap.
There’s simply too many items on the menu that looks interesting and tempting to order, but there’s only that much amount of food that we can take in, we didn’t manage to try everything. Well, at least we got to try most of the signature dishes recommended by the friendly staff.
For starters, we ordered the Cheeseburger Wonton Poppers, Wings which comes in a total of 7 different flavours for you to choose from, as well as Truffle Parmesan Fries. Of the three flavours we ordered, I prefer the Spicy Buffalo more than the other two.
For mains, we had the Beef Brisket Marinara and Tom Yum Chicken Mushroom Pasta which taste surprisingly good!
We also ordered a few burgers to try, such as the Rendang Chicken, which is flavourful and the chicken meat is nicely cooked as it didn’t turned out to be too dry and additional points given for the runny egg.
The Crabby Patty Burger gives a interesting taste to the breaded soft shell crab with the salted egg yolk sauce. Everything blends nicely with the charcoal bun as well.
However we thought that the Beefy Shrooms Burger can have abit more shroom and the fries can be better as it’s abit too soggy and starchy.
Overall, Burp Kitchen & Bar does offer a decent dining experience and is suitable for small or large groups with the large portions at an affordable price. Get ready for a burpin’ good time at Burp Kitchen & Bar!
