During our stay at Sheraton Grande Sukhumvit Bangkok, we got to try a few of the restaurants and all of them taste really good. I even got the chance to meet the chef at BASIL for a private cooking class where I learnt to cook two different authentic Thai dishes 😉
BASIL is located a the ground level of Sheraton Grande Sukhumvit and is one the many award-winning restaurants in Bangkok which serves authentic traditional Thai cuisine in a contemporary setting.
Here’s the ingredients prepared for my first dish. Are you able to tell what am I cooking?
Having a great chemistry with the chef. She’s soooo friendly and cute!
It’s Seafood Tom Yum Kung !
Now the next dish, guess what is it?
and I got really serious with the cooking class. hahaha~ I’m a good student okay~
but still a selfie is needed while I cook 😛
Gaeng Kiew Waan Neua, which means Green Beef Curry. As I do not take beef, we replace it with chicken instead and it’s still as delicious 😀
All thanks to my chef of the day, now I can cook two authentic thai dishes on my own 😛
Basil is the perfect place for diners who desire authentic Thai delicacies while enjoying themselves in a modern setting filled with traditional Thai elements all around the restaurant.
