December holiday is coming soon and if you are looking for a place to experience winter, do consider Korea 😉 Here’s sharing my winter trip to Korea this year in January (yes i know i’m abit slow haha) but still I think it’s not too late to share these with you guys here.
On my itinerary, I started off from Singapore to Seoul, followed by a domestic flight to Jeju Island to explore the place before heading back to Seoul again. There are no direct flights from Singapore to Jeju, so I got a return ticket from Singapore to Seoul, and purchase a return domestic flight ticket from Eaststar Jet from Seoul to Jeju.
Let the adventure begin! 😀
It’s a morning flight.. soo…. yawnz~
Breakfast on board
and after 7 hours later… here we are in Korea! 😀
Ice skating rink in the airport
Selfie time!
As the domestic flight from Seoul to Jeju does not depart from Incheon airport, you will need to head over to Gimpo airport for your flight to Jeju.
There are a few ways of making your way from Incheon to Gimpo and the most convenient and fastest way is to take the AREX Airport Rail service, located at B1. It’s about nine stops from Incheon to Gimpo and the journey is about 35 mins at a price of 3,550 won.

as well as some random photos… hahaha~
Starbucks available at the convenience stores~
Once again, it’s boarding time!
After an hour later, we arrive at Jeju Aiport, waiting for my luggage 🙂 very much like how a budget airport look like.
we booked a driver for our trip in Jeju and the experience was quite sucky, so i shall not share his details here. Not only there is communication barrier, it’s expensive and he expect us to pay for his meal whenever we eat. I was craving for some authentic korea food and some hot soup, so I asked him to recommend us a place to go. However, it took him very long to finally understand what we say, after showing him photos and using google translate.
So we settled at an average restaurant with average food for our already very late dinner before checking in to our 3 stars hotel and rest for the day.
