Rise & Shine! It’s Day 3 of our Hong Kong trip and we are dedicating our day for SHOPPING today! woohoo~! 😀
Outfit for the day… wear something simple so it’s easier for you to do shopping, especially when you needa try on clothings and stuff 😉
but before we start our day proper, we needa have our breakfast right! very important ok! yesterday was dim sum, so today we decided to try out the char can ting! really love the food they served in those char can ting.. ~
food was superb la! and it’s really cheap! they always come in a set whereby there’s coffee or tea, with egg and toasted bread 😉
some random street shots before heading back to our hotel to do some “business” before heading out 😛
camwhore abit while waiting for the rest 😛
First shopping destination was Fa Yuen Gai aka 花园街 whereby it’s split into 2 sections. One section sell lots of sports related items from sports apparels to shoes and more, while the other is like a mini daytime market, with stalls selling all kinds of stuff from clothings to bags and even fruits as well!
Guess what’ve i’ve spotted in this picture below?
S.H.E! muahahaha~ *ok i know i very random but.. ya. i’m still kinda excited :P*
was looking for some nice shoes to buy but in the end i didn’t though some looks really nice but it didn’t strike that “i die die also must buy back that shoes” mood. so i bough nothing in Sports section of Fa Yuen Gai.
can tell what is the focus of this image below? look at those charges… you roughly know what it is la hor~ i dun have to elaborate much from there right? hahaha~ 😛
this is the second section of Fa Yuen Gai…
Only managed to buy one portable UV umbrella for my mum and baby clothings for my niece! *FYI, she was born last sunday! 😉 *
ICE CREAM!!! something that i’m craving for under that freaking hot weather!!
Settle down at the famous dessert chain store in hong kong, 许溜山 and ordered some dessert and rest for awhile before shopping continues… 🙂
busy checking twitter, facebook and checking into foursquare ;P
can’t rmb wat is this. If im not wrong, its some steamed egg topped with BIRD NEST! yes 燕窝!very atas right?! lolx~
I ordered the papaya with white fungus dessert. Very nice~
they are having a mango feast dessert promotion at the moment and see what we’ve ordered. the full range of mango desserts from the store! a total of 9 varieties! not bad leh~ all taste quite nice 😉
next we proceed to the Argyle Center whereby it’s a heaven for all the ladies. Out of the 4 storey far-east / bugis style shopping mall, only ONE store that sells clothing for the guys. i spent like less than 15mins to browse through and im done with it.
SO for all the ladies and girls out there, you should definitely not miss this place whereas for the guys, you can simply just skip the place la. really will BORED to death lo~
We decided to head back to the hotel for awhile to unload our shopping hoots so far (actually nothing much for me la) and have our dinner before proceeding to H&M!! wee! (my main highlight of the day~)
AND WE ORDERED HONG KONG’S FAMOUS 烧腊 Roasted meat!!!
this is known as 五宝饭, the 5 treasure rice which consist of Char Siew 叉烧, Chicken 麻油鸡, Duck 烧鸭, Sausages 香肠 and Salted egg 咸蛋. VERY YUMMILICIOUS!!! 😀
After dinner, we went over to central IFC which is a really posh shopping mall, very similar to suntec city as my boss are looking for some coffee cups which is unavailable in singapore. Luckily he managed to find it in hong kong, if not a wasted trip sia~
Now, it’s time for H&M!!! wee~~~ and sorry, no pics as i was having a hard time looking for it and after i enter the store, headed down to the basement level where all the guys appearals are and i spent almost 30 to an hour shopping there lol! one level only and it took me that long. (but got include time spent for queuing up, making decision and trying on clothes la). Initially i was kinda worried on the amount of cash i have with me but then i told myself, why use cash?! use card la! and my shopping basket was filled up with alot more stuffs hahaha~~~ spent ard 100 plus and got myself tops, bottoms and accessories! DAMN SHIOK to shop there la~ and im glad that its coming in SINGAPORE soon!!! WOOHOO~!
After shopping, we went over to the Avenue of Stars, aka 星光大道. Magnificent night scenery! really very pretty!
bought this cuttlefish which taste really nice~ ! highly recommended !! 😀
We’re all too tired, so we decided to take a cab back to the hotel, which is not that expensive actually. Went back up to the hotel, unload stuff and off we go again for some desserts~! yes.. desserts again!
this time round we visited the stall opps our hotel and surprisingly it’s good! 🙂
Green Bean mix with Red Bean soup…
After dessert, we went back hotel and watched the general election together over some food and beer 😉 didn’t managed to finish watching the election as we’re all getting tired, sleepy and alittle drunk from the beer.. but surprisingly i felt quite awake after taking a hot shower! so… i decided to lay out all my shopping loots on the bed…
haha.. wanna see my shopping loots from hong kong? check out my next upcoming post then 😛
