The impression of a hostel that most people have, including myself are those cheap and simple, not very well furnished and maintained kind of accommodation and seldom come across my mind of staying in one. However, it’s time for us to relook into hostel accommodation now as it’s a totally different experience nowadays!

These artworks, ranging from photography, illustrations, painting and drawings are specially chosen to form the gallery as each and every one of them tells a unique story of Singapore. Whether in-room of in the nicely decorated communal spaces, guests can get to learn more about Singapore’s culture.

The communal terrace, one of our favourite spaces, features an amazing view of the Singapore River, which explorers can soak in while enjoying their complimentary breakfast daily. The terrace is also part of Gallery 76, featuring works of Edwin Koo, an amazing Singaporean photographer.

So if you are planning for a trip to Singapore and looking for an accommodation that is value for money and situated at a good location, 5footway.inn will be an ideal choice cultural explorers looking to discover Singapore through the eyes of a local.
