On the 5th day of chinese new year, i get to meet up with mint and calvin for a simple cny lunch and to have my very first lao yu sheng for the chinese new year~

It’s my first time dining here and it was recommended by calvin, so i’m sure it’s gonna be good! Loved the ambient of the restaurant too!

we started off with the yu sheng which caters for 3 to 4 pax… and the servings was really huge!

it taste yummeh! loved their yu sheng!

we also ordered their signature xiao long bao which comes in different flavours. Personally i loved the original one and the cheesy one.

this white fish is good as the fish meat in it is really gao gao one! meaning it’s not like those fish and chips u eat outside whereby the batter is really THICK and fish meat is very little only. topped with garlic bits, i think it’s pretty nice but mint suggested that they marinate the fish longer so the flavor can seep into the fish meat…

Shanghainese Fried rice which taste quite tasty and abit salty. I supposed they added in some XO sauce to it? but overall not bad

this gonna be my favourite! Stir-fried long beans with minced meat and mushrooms bits VERY VERY TASTY! goes really well with rice or porridge!

It was really a great catching up session as we slowly enjoy the food and chit chatting with each other
